How do I align the laser emitter and receiver over long distances?
+Our sensors use a Class 1 visible red laser beam. To align, power both units and adjust the angles until the red spot hits the center of the receiver lens. The built-in signal indicator will turn green once the optical axis is perfectly aligned.
What is the smallest object size it can detect?
+Due to the high-collimation of the laser, our standard series can detect objects as small as ø 1.0mm. For micro-parts, our precision series can detect targets down to ø 0.5mm, such as thin wires or micro-electronics.
Will dust or oil mist affect the sensing performance?
+While dust can attenuate signals, our high-power laser diodes have excellent penetration. For harsh environments, we recommend IP67/IP68 rated models and periodically cleaning the lens to ensure consistent uptime.
Should I choose NPN or PNP output for my PLC?
