Does a longer range mean lower repeat accuracy?

Not with XSZ. While standard long-range sensors may trade accuracy for distance, our **high-gain ASIC technology** maintains a repeat accuracy of **≤ ±1%** of the sensing distance. This ensures precision even when detecting targets from 40mm away.

How do I handle sensing non-ferrous metals like Aluminum?

Long-distance sensors are calibrated for **standard steel (Fe360)**. For Aluminum, the sensing range typically drops by about 55% (Correction Factor 0.45). Because our base distance is so high (e.g., 40mm), even with the reduction, you still get a **18mm usable range** for Aluminum, which is far superior to standard sensors.

What is the benefit of a "Non-flush" mounting for long distance?

**Non-flush (Unshielded)** designs allow the magnetic field to expand sideways as well as forward, which is essential for achieving the maximum possible sensing distance. If your installation allows for a metal-free zone around the sensor head, Non-flush is the best choice for extreme range.

Are these sensors compatible with standard PLC inputs?
