Analog sensors need the target to stay inside a usable signal range. Confirming target size, working distance, output type and PLC input early helps reduce unstable readings and calibration problems.
Is the target inside the linear range?
The rated sensing distance is not always the best measuring range. Keep the working distance inside the stable analog output zone.
Is the target large and stable enough?
